Caxias do Sul (RS), March 10, 2026 – Agrale S.A., a Brazilian
manufacturer with 64 years of experience in the automotive and agricultural
sectors, has signed a contract to supply 208 units of the Agrale Marruá AM250
utility vehicle to an implementation company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur,
capital of Malaysia, destined for the country's army.
The first units have already been shipped. The remaining vehicles are
currently in production at Agrale’s Unit 2 in Caxias do Sul (RS), Brazil, with
deliveries scheduled through the end of the year. The vehicles meet the
applications defined by the client and local regulations, including a right-hand
drive (RHD) steering system, the standard adopted in countries with left-hand
traffic.
Application in severe operations
Developed for highly demanding applications, the Agrale Marruá AM250 is
a diesel 4x4 utility vehicle delivering 123 kW of power, 600 Nm of torque and a
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 5,700 kg. The model was engineered by
combining high structural strength with significant load capacity.
Built on a robust chassis and designed to handle uneven terrain and steep
inclines, the vehicle provides strong off-road performance without compromising
stability and safety. Its single or double cab configuration allows for a wide variety
of setups and operational versatility, enabling efficient and safe transport of teams
and equipment.
With this supply, Agrale begins its presence in Southeast Asia and
advances its internationalization strategy, consolidating the Marruá as a solution
for professional applications in international markets, in addition to its traditional
use by Defense and Security Forces.
